I have an adult pair of them. What can I do to breed them? do they need to hibernate ? When could they mate ? in short, what can I do to breed this specie? Regards.

I cool my Panamints down with most of my other N. American snakes. I think it helps.

Mine mate both in the spring as well as late summer and have produced babies either way. I keep my adults together most of the year and sometimes during hibernation. I have had success keeping them together and separating them during hibernation.

I keep mine separated all year except during Apr/May. Somewhere during that time the male has always courted, and copulated with the female within 6 hours of intro. They have stayed locked up for over 3 days. After they separate, I remove the male and it's everyone for themselves. Brumation starts around Thankgiving and ends around St. Pat's Day. Brumation temps range between 46F-58F. Have had offspring for 3 years in a row.
