Two of My Favorite Morelia

DavidKendrick Feb 10, 2007 06:36 PM

These two where produced by Head Hunter Reptiles, and both recently shed in the last couple of days, and I just think they are amazingly beautiful, so I thought I would share a couple of new pics....

Whats even more amazing to me is how diverse the clucth was, my two look nothing like each other, and the holdbacks are even more different...Maybe Chris and Chris will post pics of thier Holdbacks..(hint..hint..)

Zulu

Tutsi

Its SOOooo hard to capture Tutsis color on Camera, she is the most intense Yellow I have ever seen on a carpet...But the Camera doesn't pick up that yellow, it shows it as more white.

Spectacular!!! I love that Zulu (great name, too). One hint for getting the yellow to show up more is photograph the snake under regular flourescent light without a flash (digital, I assume). Sometimes that brings out the yellow much better.

Thanks,
I used two lights, one Flor and one Incandsant (GE Reveal) with no flash, For some reason my camera just doesn't want to pick up yellow very well...

Thanks for the compliment and suggestion..

Zulu is looking great! I was worried about him since I never see him anymore! It doesnt look like he is ready to bite your face off either, or is that just trick photography? (LOL)

Weird One just shed yesterday as well but Im not really in the camera mood right now, She does have the cleanest yellow of any of our snakes though. It is hard to believe these snakes are pushing 2 years old! Looks like mom is preggers again this year so Im really excited to see what this clutch has to offer!

WOW! Those are too sweet. I wonder if mine has a chance of looking a bit like this when all is said and done. If mine turns out half this nice, I will be more than pleased.

One more note: Dave, your pics are just outstanding. You really have it down well.
