Yup, that's a little neck display. She wasn't very happy with the camera and took a shot at it shortly after! She's a feisty one for sure. These tiger rats are truly becoming some of my favorite snakes!

Seems likes Spiloites are getting more and more talk on the forum these days. Maybe this species should get it's own forum? They are very cool and I bet there are more folks out there with them who just don't know where to post.

I love all the photos by the way.

Seems to me that the Spilotes is a giant tree dwelling racer similar in personality to the coachwhip I qualify my statment in that I breed both and know them well. Since the Indigo group are all giant racers I see it as a good fit. There is also a large crossover of Indigo keepers that breed Spilotes including myself. I would agree however that there is a Forum better suited for Spilotes and that is the Coachwhip and Racer forum. It is a slower forum in need of material and their personalitys are better aligned to this group. Bill
