Need Input - What is going on here?

SPJ01 Feb 10, 2007 09:10 PM

The bright yellow on her keeps changing to white more and more after every shed. Her last shed was 2 weeks ago. I went to feed her tonight and took a picture since the change is getting very noticeable. She used to have bright yellow down her back and on her head.
At this rate, she will have only white there eventually.
Any idea what is going on?

This picture is from several months ago and it shows the bright yellow on her back with a barley noticeable hint of white towards the head.

This is from tonight. You can see the signifigant amount of white replacing what used to be yellow.

She looks like she has been rubbing her back..maybe she's tring to get something off her.Does she usally shed all in one peice or is it patchy and you have to help her get the rest off?

She has always shed in one piece with a surprise left in it for me. LOL.

There really isn't anything to rub her back on. She is in a tub with the substrate and a water bowl. When she is in blue, I mist her and raise the overall humidity. Exactly what I do with the other BP's in that rack. This is the only one who is showing this.

The white is getting more and more noticeable after each shed which is really concerning.
