Eastern Milk Snake Pics

mouhotiifan Feb 10, 2007 10:19 PM

Well I am finally getting around to posting the pics of my eastern, or what I am pretty sure is an eastern. As some of you remember, it wouldn't voluntarily eat for me. It eats somewhat voluntarily (it will take a pinkie/hopper if it is placed in it's mouth.) I know I should probably think of brumating it, but I was able to get a fresh recent fecal to find it has/had some parasites which I am treating it for. (I had suspected this since I aquired her, she was rather emaciated.) After a few rounds of clean fecals, I will brumate it and see if it won't take F/T when she comes back up.
I'm pretty sure she's a WC, as her tail seems a bit short and she has an odd scar on her head.
Hope you enjoy the pics, please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

Steve

Snake looks kind of skinny... But that's understandable considering the condition you obtained it in.

Good luck with it.

And yeah... It's an eastern milk snake.

What local are your pair?
They have a real nice look to them with the white back ground.
I'm in Lycoming county Pa.,and the ones we find here are not as white.

If I may ask can you tell me what state their from? I'm not looking for an exact locality, just wondering what they look like in other areas.
