'Supersized Crocs' TV program on PBS..>

BackBeat Feb 10, 2007 11:06 PM

Just a heads up that PBS's series 'Nature' is showing a program entitled 'Supersized Crocs' on Sunday (Feb. 11th) night at 8 PM.

The program follows a crocodilian expert as he searches for the 'last of the supersized crocs'....

From the previews it looks to be a quality and entertaining program.

Check your local TV listings or PBS.org for air dates/times in your area.

I know I'll be checking it out. Well, all except the first few minutes. I MUST see The Police re-unite in the first few minutes of the Grammys. Gotta love that Stewart Copeland on the drums.

It was a good program. Saw a few familiar faces including Jaws the saltie and some of the keepers at the Croc Bank in India. I need to get back there again soon

if it is a hybrid? What about weight or length?
Thanks,

I believe its a pure saltie. 16ft long when I was there in 2003. Its head is a bit small for its body size though. Kinda abnormal.

The ratio of head:total body length for Jaws is 1:9. See my article on the subject of croc ratios (they change with age) at http://janakilenin.blogspot.com/ - the piece called Size Matters.
