Juveniles do pretty darn well with dusted crickets as a major part of their diet. Easier than dealing with baby food is a product called crested gecko diet. It's a powder that you mix with water and is considered to be complete nutrition for them. It's cheaper, easier and better for them than baby food. Mine loves it - it's the main part of her diet. She also gets a couple of crickets a week, and goes after them very aggressively.

Your best bet is buying T-Rex Crested Gecko Diet. It is a complete diet, which means that is the only thing you have to feed them. It is a good idea to feed it crickets sometimes as wel though. If you don't go with the crested gecko diet, make sure you dust the crickets with calcium and you add a little extra calcium to the baby food.
