Harold,
I'll guess and say both will retain heat in a near equal amount..However if one cage has a greater wall thickness than
it would increase the R value..Of course the greater the ventilation the greater the heat and humidity loss..So which cage has the greatest wall thickness and the minimum amount
of ventilation ? Both being reputable herp cages it may come down to personal preference..Being a newby I'd be interested in what you come up with..
Tim..
Either one will work just fine. These animals do not need high temps. Bloods and STP's do great in the low 80's. I have a large collection of Bloods and STP's and they all stay at room temp. My temp are in the 78-80 range at night and about 80-84 during the day. They actually dont due as well at the higher temps.
Thank you

Does anybody use Animal Plastic enclosures for their bloods? I'm thinking of getting some T10's or T13's. Any pics?
Thanks

I was wondering how the new design of AP racks works when the tub is primarily out. Does the shelf lip that protrudes out from the sides bow/bend any when the box is pulled out for feeding/watering/etc.? It looks pretty, but I would prefer a flush mounted shelf; just me I guess.
The tubs are over 4' long so the selves are cut to support the tubs but the sides are only 4' deep as they are cut out of a 4x8 sheet of plastic. I have no problems with them at all. Ryan The Blood Cell
