Unique Hides

MrGimmick Feb 07, 2003 09:13 PM

Hi all - I was wondering what everyone's strangest or most original looking hide was for their BP. I don't have anything great, my strangest one is made out of a coffee filter box (I'm a poor college student, give me a break) - but I was wondering what everyone else had- Thanks

Jon

We've been using wicker baskets from the Rag Shop, they cost about $3 a piece and look great!

Well, I don't know about strange but cheap?
How about $1.00? After Halloween was over, went to Wally and they had big plastic bowls (for serving treats) on clearance. Bought a stack of them. They are light, easy to clean, and my bps love hiding in them too.

The bowls serve a second purpose too.
I flip over and place the snake in it while I change the enclosure. They usually just sit right in it, waiting for me to finish my cleaning.

I'm using a clay cactus pot with an entrance chipped out of it and sanded smooth. My new (and first) BP either hides in it or basks on top of it.
