She is awesome looking! I have rarely seen a ringed python with such good contrast as an older adult. Do you breed her?

Tom Keogan Feb 12, 2007 07:03 AM

Thanks, she comes from a real high contrast line. Yes, she has been breeding since 1999. She had last year off but has been breeding heavy the last few weeks and she normally produces about 20 eggs.

The babies remind me of kingsnakes.

I have NEVER seen an adult that nice looking. What does your boy look like? How much do you let your babies go for? Do they tend to hold the contrast that she does as they grow?

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, Thanks! I think the male is way above average, but not as nice as her. I have only raised a few hatchlings up to the yearling or eighteen month age before I sold them and they were pretty nice. I normally have some in Daytona, but don't like to count them before they hatch. Below is the male that is breeding now.

I always forget to come back to this forum....

Tom, that is awesome. I would absolutely love to purchase a baby pair off of you. I do not know if I will be in Daytona this year. I have never been there before; however, I am considering moving to Gainesville as my fiance is close to getting accepted to UF vet school. So, I may want to come down and check out the area...possibly conveniently over the daytona show And the best thing about her is...she is thinking the same thing. lol
