How to get

Novasnake Feb 11, 2007 04:33 PM

I have always loved Indigo Snakes, but as they are a protected/endagered snake I thought it was impossible to get one as a pet.

When I saw this forum I was blown away, and so I just want to ask, how, where and how much? Any sites or people I should know about to get a Indigo snake?

This site will help you figure out weather your state allows them. It also has some breeders info. http://www.indigosnakes.com/

Once you figure out if your state allows them then you can also watch the Kingsnake.com "other snakes" classifieds. Usually breeders start taking deposits in spring and the babies are ready to go in early fall.

They are great snakes but be prepared to buy a BIG cage and spend some $. Well worth it in my opinion.
