Kara, do me a favor. Easter is coming up, dye some chicken eggs and place them in some of the Ball tubs, and tell Kevin that his snakes successfully mated and laid. A nice purple, red and blue egg would be cool.

Download some red hot XXX snake porn and leave it playing in the snake room. Maybe they'll take the hint!

Ball pythons reach sexual maturity anywhere from 18 months to 4 years of age. Breeding season in captivity typically ranges from November to March. Stop all feeding at this time. Animals should be well established and in excellent condition before any breeding is attempted. Breeding may be induced by reducing daytime photoperiod to 8 - 10 hours and dropping nighttime temperatures into the mid 70's. Introduce the female into the male's cage. Misting the animals with water may induce breeding activity. Females shed 14-20 days after ovulation; eggs are usually laid within 30 days of post-ovulation shed. Clutch size for balls typically ranges from 4 - 12 eggs. At an Incubation temperature of 88 - 90F (optimal), these eggs take an average of 60 days to hatch.

Hope this helps

If you forgot how to breed Ball Pythons you don't deserve the ones you have. Package up all the Ball pythons you have and ship them to me. I will breed them and sell you all the babies, that I don't want to keep, at 1/2 "market value". That way you can still sell Ball Pythons...

Have a nice day!

Two things I have discovered that seem to work every time.

First, you have to assume that they won't breed. Stop caring whether they do or not and come to the realization that they are all duds and just enjoy them as pets.

Second, shut off all incubators due to step one. Disassemble them all and store them in the attic.

Once you have done this, they will know they have won and will drop a frick load of eggs that you are totally unprepared for. At the high point of this O.S. moment, the snakes will be laughing and watching you rush around trying to make everything work.

It's kinda like getting them to go to the bathroom. Just clean the enclosure spotless and the next thing you know, a new mess to clean.
