Well I kept in touch with home today and they followed the procedure Paulbuck described about feeding pre-killed rats, and Rocky ate successfully in a separate enclosure with no problems. It was a stunned rat. Now how long until I try offering Rocky frozen-thawed rats?

IMO, next step is:

First wait till Rocky is hungry again then offer a F/K rat, not stunned, not kicking, dead as a doornail, still warm rat. Once he's taking those then not much of a leap to F/T.

LOL, to many snakes to list, last count:
13.24 BRB
12.14 BCI
And those are only the breeders

lots.lots.lots feeder mice and rats

...F/K means fresh-killed? Shouldn't be much of a problem then.
