Red Dragons

We currently have 2 beardies and LOVE the hell out of them. My g/f has had her dragon for over 2 years and I've had mine for about a year. Mine is a Chris Allen Red X Blood female. I really love the looks of really Red bearded dragons so I've been trying to find out more about them. I've been curious to see what makes them this way. Is it something selective with the breeding, which ones tend to be the "reddest", what's the differences in the breeding, etc. Basically I have been trying to find out more about the different breeds of dragons. So far I've come across listings for: Crawley Reds, Flaming Reds, Chris Allen Reds, Crimson Red, Sandfire, Bloods, Red X Bloods, Sandfire, Jemfire Red, etc. However when I look at the classifieds and most pages selling beardies I only tend to see Chris Allen Red X Blood, Sandfire, etc. Rarely do you see any of the other breeds. Why is this? It seems really rare to come across just a Red, a Blood, and I've never seen Jemfire Reds or what not. Why is this? Obviously they have to exist to breed these guys. Can someone point me in the direction to finding more about these different breeds and breeders who have them? Any info would be appreciated.

well i cant answer your questions of genetics really....but the reds get better and better with breeding selection. the better the coloring in the parents, the better it should come out in the babies. and so on.

you see alot of "chris allen" blood or reds because he was a major breeder for dragons, especially bloods or reds. and sadly alot of people will just tag his name up on their red dragons to make them look special. i myself have a red male and female that came from bloodlines linked to chris allen.

but here is a link to the king of all reds. the red hypomelanistic from dachiu

so now i have a question. why do some breeds get big like that? is it just because there's different types of beardies or is it the breeding? my guy is NOTHING compared to that big yellow one. and even the other ones are really big compared to mine. but i've been told that this is probably as big as my guy is getting.
