Het Marker?

jdillow Feb 13, 2007 09:33 AM

I was looking at getting Pieds. Little expensive so I was looking at hets. Saw a post for Het Pieds with "MARKER". What is a Het Pied Marker?

I say Het-Pied markers = hogwash

You can read a good description here;

My male Het has the "marker" sort of and he has a very white fairly spotless belly. my female kind of has a whitish belly with a small "marker" like the one on the next world exotics guide. However, i would rather buy and unmarked het from a reliable seller, rather than a perfect marker from a guy/gal i don't know who may be a scammer who has no refs and seem suspicious. You shouldn't put much faith in this marker because it shows up on normal het-for nothings as well as some hets. I think a lot of people have been ripped or bought snakes just because of the marker and been dissapointed.

I have heard of possible het pieds that have a ringer, the Next world guide has those too, but again, most seeem to be weird normals that look cool but don't necessarily have any hidden desireable genes...
