i have a 2yr old RES and on saturday i got a baby RES. we tried putting them together and the older tried to bite the baby! so we seperated them. and then we read that size does matter with turtles. but we don't want to have them seperated forever. is it wise to get a tank divider? something made of mesh...to divide the tank into two areas?

also, is it normal for the baby to sleep so much? i am concerned because i really don't see the baby eating. i have given boomer pellets and krill and lettuce- all in bite size pieces of course.

any ideas on any of the above?

adult RES are aggresive... i think the baby RES is intimidated. it would be wise if you seperate them. safer is better!!!
