pyxie frog

could anybody tell me or have any information on breeding pyxie frogs?
it would be much appreciated

They breed in shallow pools when it rains. They have between 3-4 thousand eggs from what I've read. They hatch on the second day, I believe. And as for morhping completely from tadpole into froglet, I think its like 2-3 weeks, not sure. I just know that it's considerably shorter than American Bullfrog morph rates.
Also, the male looks after the tadpoles. He guards them fiercely, and if the water begins to dry up, he'll actually dig a channel into deeper water.

Hope this helped. I think thats the gist of it, but google it to be sure. Im not sure how easy it is to breed them in captivity.

Ah, I just read up a bit more...its actually fully metamorphisized in a month. But after that, be careful of sibling cannibalism.
