How do you set-up a computer fan to ventilate a viv? I am talking about electronically. The CPU fans at radio shack don't have a plug, they just have 2 wires. What am I supposed to do with those?

A computer fan uses DC power, i wouldnt want to attach a plug to it and plud it right into the wall!
If you want a good cheap computer fan, look on e-bay i got mine for $2 or $3 each brandnew and really quite. Now to power them you can use a computer power supply, or a ac to dc convertor.
I got my ac to dc convertor at radioshack. It was $15 and it has variable amp output. I keep my output at 6. I have three fans wired to that one convertor. You want to get a fan with 2 wires (black, red). But the ones i got a red, black, and yellow. I attached the neg to neg and pos to pos and cut off the yellow wire.
I want ahead and soldered the connections to make sure they held, wraped them in black electrical tape and plugged it in!

I use the same concept, and it is a good idea to use small fans. Say 40mm, with low cfm, here are some, I just ordered 3 of these and will let you know how they go. The sleve based fans seem to get loud as you slow them down which is what most of the smaller oned are. These have bearings so should be a little less loud. I should have mine by wed or thurs and I can post how they are working.
Here is the link, do a search for 40mm, then click on the one under ANTEC.
