This first one is Jari. She was imported in 1992 and was very thin and rough at that time. Last year she laid her best litter ever of 20 or 21. In this PIC she is the heaviest she has ever been and she was bred a couple weeks ago.

This is Santarem. I posted PICs of him last month. He was born here in 2003 and looked normal for his first 18 months. Since then he has lost much of his red pigment.

This is a close up of him showing the light colored scales just inside the markings on his back. When I saw the ad for the calico BRB in the classifieds I thought of these scales on this snake. Many BRBs have some degree of this effect but the one in the classifieds is an extreme example.

This next one is Sunkist. He was born here in 1998. Both parents were plain mahogany phase BRBs with limited crescents. Looking aty parents can help to pick the best babies but there is plenty of variation within a litter. Sorry for the focus in the second PIC. I would have deleted it but I like seeing a tongue shot like this.

These next two are half sisters. They were from the same mother. One was in her 1999 litter and the other from 2001. Both of these females have been good breeders.

This is one of my 2004 females.

This is my largest male Peruvian Rainbow, Epicrates cenchria gaigei. I got him from Burgundy Reptiles at the Orlando Expo in 1998. At least I think it was 1998.

These are two of my Surinam Redtails. The one in the front is a male I got as a baby in 1998. The one behind him is a 2000 female. He weighs 18 pounds and she weighs 40 pounds. She has been bred by another male and hopefully is gravid. This behaviour waiting with head at the top of the flowerpot usually indicates that they are hungry and may indicate that she is not gravid. We shall see.
