I've two young knobs that are growing nicely. I am feeding them small (1.5gram) f/t pinks currently. They hatched in July of 06. I still have quite a few small pinks in the freezer. Will they take two at a time, should I feed them a little more frequently, or just bite the bullet and get some bigger feeders?

The current diet is one f/t pink every 5 days and they seem okay but by the 5th day they are HUNGRY. I'd like to stay at the five day mark so my kids can handle them regularly.

Sounds like you have a good regimen going. Continue the trend, maybe try two pinks each. If they take them both, you got your answer. When you run out, reorder the next size up. Good luck, show pics!

I agree. Try to blow through those pinks a little faster by feeding two at a time. The sooner you get them onto bigger mice, the better. The nutritional value improves with bigger prey, and a pinky's bones aren't really ossified, so your Knobs are missing out on calcium intake.
