I got bit!!!

by the ball python bug....quick someone help me.

Seriously, I just got back from visiting some of my Command's construction projects along the East Coast and while in Jacksonville I adopted a male ball python from my wife's friend. Since I got this guy home, I've spent many hours surfing Ball Python websites looking for the right female to pair this guy up with (he is over 4 lbs or 2200 grams). Best of all he ate f/t mice for me first time offered. Well I finally settled on a few females and by doing that I now find myself looking for other mutations of the male variety to add a little spice to the project. My God...is there any hope for me:}

I swore up and down I'd never fall prey to the BP syndroms but I'll be darn if it didn't get me square on the arse.

Russ:

Ball pythons?...oh, the shame. That is really pathetic. Snap out of it, man! Surely there must be treatment.

Sadly,

Bob

Yeah I'm pretty dissappointed in myself about now. Hopefully the interest will subside right after they go off feed for about three months

Why the Navy trains you for everything Didn't you get the memo?

Some of my best training was Navy training. I never knew about the elusive "Sea Bat" until I spent some time on a naval vessel. I also had training on lightbulb repair kits, and learned how to properly stand mail buoy watch.

I'm disappointed in you to Russ. I thought I was the only fool to fall for ball pythons. And you are right you will get over them when they go off feed. I've got a friend here now suffering through that now. His snake hasn't fed for 5 months.
