what a differance 1 year makes!!!

mack1time Feb 14, 2007 10:34 PM

Just wanted to show off my female cornsnake as she progressed over the past year.

so here she is a roughly 8 months old

And this is her today... notice the gap in the middle of the blotches has widened

and a side view to see her yellows

Is it safe to say this is somekind of frosted snow?

Very nice animal!!.......and yes,I've known people to sometimes refer to "snows" that have the blotches suffused with white as "frosted" snows.........Some breeders/owners like to put as many different "labels" on the different variations as possible, while others just tend to "lump" them together as just one of many variations of the "snowcorn".......sometimes this practice gets a little rediculous(not just snows) as some breeders want the "recognition" of "coining" a unique name to an animal claiming they started a particular strain!..you can certainly see how this would appeal to some!!LOL.....in any case, that's a very good looking, healthy example,....and like you said, what a difference a year makes!, especially the first year!!LOL.....Doug
