Antelope, my predictions for NARBC

stevenxowens792 Feb 15, 2007 10:54 AM

If I am able to attend, I think I will see the following...

1. A bunch of overprice Ball Pythons with new made up color phases like "chilli dog" phase or "Desert Sunburst" or "Killer Clowns".
2. Very few vendors with neat stuff that you don't see too often like locality sand boas.
3. Very few vendors with locality SW Texas stuff.
4. Lots of slow feeders that didn't sell in the summer time.
5. A few good snakes that breeders are selling for extra funds around tax time.
6. A few snakes that are sold as breeders but have never really bred before.... but you still pay breeder price.
7. A few stands with snake hooks...
8. A stand with jewelry.
9. Hopefully some good people from this forum and website...

Maybe we can have some Mexican food shipped in from Crosby's!! Margaritas too! Don't be so pessamistic! I am sure you will be right about the Ball pythons though.

In my experience, it's more a cause-and-effect relationship--waiting CAUSES Blue...etc.

Good thing I like "natural" looking animals--I have too many other hobbies to spend multi-hundreds of dollars on a snake that's possible het for something-or-other!

Plus, I can't (well, shouldn't) take on any new animals given my current job demands.
