Rosy Racks???

ttreptile1 Aug 11, 2003 09:35 AM

I am likely geting back into breeding Rosys and possibly Kenyan sand boas as a small side project. In the past I kept them in 10 or 20 gallon tanks with undertank heaters. This time around I would like to go with a nice rack system of sorts. Can someone point me in the right direction? Doesn't have to be expensive or elaborate, just functional with heat built in. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and no I don't feel like building any more cages. I build all my own but am taking a break on this one. A little found money from selling my reef tank helps take the sting out. Thanks!

Check out Animal Plastics too. http://animalshare.wantapet.com/animalplastics/index.html
A few different people have them in the classifieds. I recently purchased a 7 shelf rack from them and I recommend them for racks. The heat rope works great. I did have problems locating the models 2220 and 2221 rubbermaid boxes locally though- so if boxes aren't included make sure you can find them in your area.

The boaphiles look really nice- and I did purchase a stand alone 321 model cage from them for a Taiwan Beauty. I needed a partially heated rack and Animal Plastics was able to heat just the top 4 shelves. I keep some snakes that don't like additional heat (Mandarin Rats). They gave me the option to heat the lower shelves at a later date by including the full length of heat rope.
Good luck
Lora
