Hey,... I know this is a bit off topic (well wayyyy off topic) but I wanted to bounce this idea off someone to see what they thought...
It is quite possible to protect a digital file such as a pdf so that you have to have a password to open the file... you can also set the security in the document so that it can't be printed, etc...
so here's my idea... if someone orders an e-book from you, make the password their valid credit card number.
What are the chances they would distribute that?
whatcha think?
PS - I know there would have to be a very plain notice that their credit card number was embedded in the document, but they would know that if the credit card number IS their password.
