well... usually they guy takes a couple minutes to realize that the mealworms or crix i just put in his tank are for him. However, today he doesn't go near them, there is an escaped cricket loose and about 5 mealworms in a dish at the bottom of the tank. They all are moving, including the cricket, but the knight anole doesn't try to eat them.

The only thing i've noticed is that my knight is shedding. Whould that deter him from eating? This is day 2 of no food. Just getting a little worried.

his cage is setup so that the top is about 90 for basking, there is a mid section thats cool around 80 or so. Its a small knight, about 7" long. His cage is 3ft tall x 2ft wide x 1ft deep.

im not sure... my knight stopped eating too. what i started doing is this...
i take about 3 adult crix in the freezer for about 5 minutes to kill them. then i dust them. after that i tap the knight on the nose to make him mad and he opens his mouth to bite. i have a dead crix on a large slotted spoon that i hold up to him and he bites the crix and eats it. it takes lots of time but atleast he is eating. i also held some watermelon up to him and he ate that. he also loves peach baby food but he will only eat it if i hold him in one hand and hold the food up to him... if its in his cage he just lets it dry up and wont eat it. sigh. at least he eats...maybe you could try that
