I was reading one of my old national geographic today and found this pics, I'm kinda stumped cause it looks like an olive python but the photographer said it's 11ft long?

Yes, that's what it looks like to me from that distance....In any case, they can get upwards to thirteen feet(females) and are from the New Guinea, Northern Australia region............Doug
