A shout out to Knot

This is a shout out to Knot. If you are still around, please let everyone know. I am sure that everyone didn't want you to leave the forum.

You were correct to try to help other newbies. It was well intended. I enjoyed your enthusiasm in helping others.

The people who asked you to rein it back some were also correct. They have had years of experience and know that BPs will feed on much larger prey than what books say.

So, see, neither of you guys were wrong. You guys were both correct. You were correct in stepping in to try to help other newbies because no one else was going to answer those repetitive questions. The other people were correct in trying to make sure that the info you gave was the most current and up to date. This is supposed to be a great and happy community and I am sure the people who said mean things to you ultimately didn't mean to have you leave the forum. So, please stay.

See, you were right and the people who ask you to tune it down were also right, which makes me right as well! I am correct in asking you to stay a part of the forum and ask questions and learn along side all the rest of us. We are all here to be friends and learn and share in the same passion.

Cheers. Please have a great ball python day.

Knott my man!! I think you were getting so much flak just because you were citing so much from the "Ball Python Manual". I know that everyone here thinks it is great that you are reading, but you have to understand that your source of information is only one source and not always correct. Just be more open to suggestions and if you cannot answer a question with personal experience or knowledge, it is probably best to let someone else handle the question because honestly, how do you know the information that you are relaying is actually proper or good information? Allot has changed since that book came out. I am not saying not to use it for a guideline, but it is not the "Bible" of Ball Python husbandry. I hope you didn't get too discouraged and decided to leave. We were all a little hard on you, but people get frustrated I think when the same information is cited and there is a better way of handling certain situations. Let us know you are here.
