Fireball Pastel Pics

BrandonBoeke Feb 16, 2007 11:11 PM

Here's a pic of a fireball pastel female I produced this year. I bred a fireball male to a lemon pastel female, who also bred a spider and produced a bumblebee for me. This girl gets brighter and brighter with each shed, I can't wait to see more combinations!!

A few more for you........one is her compared to a larger female lemon pastel......

PS Not sure if this combination has been produced......if not, I want to call the fireball Pastel NOVA and the superpastel fire SUPERNOVA.

BrandonBoeke Feb 16, 2007 11:14 PM

For you bumblebee fans......

Amelia Feb 17, 2007 06:13 AM

That pastel is gorgeous and the bumblebee doesn't look too bad either! Good luck with getting the supers, if thats just how the regular pastel fire looks, the supers should really be somethin'.

I have a female that I'm trying to prove, if she was co-dom those were the names I was going to use...I think it suits your snake a little better than mine, nice animal! -Joe

That is one of the nicer Pastel crosses that I have seen. I am pretty sure I saw a pic of a Pastel Fire, but do not remember it looking that good! In 06, I produced the following Pastel Ember. Several people think the Ember will prove to be a Fire, but who knows.

Kevin_Arbogast Feb 17, 2007 01:01 PM

Kick ass combo! I think the fire makes a cleaner more viberant pastel combo than mixing the ghost/hypo trait with the pastel. I can only imagine how nice a Super Pastel Fire will look.

LibertyReptiles Feb 16, 2007 11:56 PM

Congrats...that's a beauty.

Congrats on a fine looking combo.
Your Pastel Fire is so brightly coloured. WOW...

I forget who bred it, but, the other Pastel Fire I've seen was produced in 2005.

Email me if you'd like and I'll send you back a photo of the Pastel Fire from 2005.

Congrats again.

PS: Great looking Bumble as well. One of the original 'Designers', and the BumbleBees are still one of my favourite Ball Pythons.

You breed the same female to two different males and produced combos from each in the same clutch? Does this happen pretty often? Also how many eggs and what were the other siblings?
That is really an AWWWWESOME looking animal. Great Job.

Jeff

BrandonBoeke Feb 18, 2007 04:30 AM

How often does this kind of thing happen? How should I know? Any clutch can be fathered by two males....I know one guy who had a clutch with 3 or 4 fathers. All the sperm collects, and is released at ovulation......each one has a shot!!

magicalmorphs Feb 17, 2007 09:39 AM

That is one bad A$$ snake!!!!!I finally got to see the bumblebee you produced too. What's in store for this year?????????????????? I know you'll have some interesting combos coming up!!!

-Chris-
p.s. The snake in the pic look familiar? Thats an old pic he's 500 grams now.

BrandonBoeke Feb 18, 2007 04:35 AM

What's in store this year? You know, a little old stuff and a little new......plenty of surprises!!

He looks great....glad to hear he's doing well for you. It's been a while since we talked. Give me a call when you get a chance!!

EmberBall Feb 17, 2007 11:03 AM

The contrast is very nice! Yup, that is definately one of the nicer Pastel crosses! Was the Fire an exceptional animal, or the Lemon Pastel just amazing, because the baby turned out spectacular! Congrats man.

Dave

BrandonBoeke Feb 18, 2007 04:41 AM

I buy the best to produce the best......they were both exceptional!!

CaseyLazik Feb 17, 2007 11:19 AM

Some nice crosses with the fire trait. If only I could get mine to breed That thing is smoking big time the super is going to be completely unreal.

I tell you what I just got a lot more interested in this morph!
