What is that first thing?!?
Thanks for posting
Horridus
They are not sure what it is. It came from a pair of het VPI axantics. He said this was his 3rd year breeding the pair, and this one hatched out. It was awesome in person. Looks like a black piebald. Time will tell if it is genetic, or just a fluke...
Wow, thanks...that's exactly what I was thinking "reverse piebald" hope it turns out to heritable.
Horridus
It doesn't look like a reverse pied, as the basic pattern is different than a pied pattern...
But I understand the basic thought.
It is pretty cool!

Did you go to Hillsboro or Seattle, both or other? Both are good but Arlington had a much nicer selection.

You say "LOL" like it's a bad thing. I would hit Hillsboro one weekend and Puyallup the next. I lived in Tacoma. If I had known about Renton, I would have been here too. In fact, I was having a tight couple of months and spent my last $6 getting in to Puyallup. Signs of an addiction.
I just drove 3 1/2 hours to do Arlington. I won't be able to be there this year so let me know how the shows go.

Thanks Jason, I really like the Pied with hardly any white...really shows the beauty of the Pied pattern. What is the size of that show in comparison to Daytona?

Thanks. This year will be my first year attending Daytona, so no reference there yet. But, the show was pretty good. I do wish they had a 1 day ticket, but it was still worth it for me and my family. There was lots for sale, and that was what made it cool. So many shows where everything nice is "Display Only". Now, I love to see them, but to know that there are some for sale, and to see a high dollar price tag makes me feel better about my investments. I saw some cash changing hands, and some deals made. I personally bought a het clown from BHB. His booth was packed, as was VPI's. (We did miss Tracy though. Wish you could have been there Tracy!!!) Take care.
Jason
I know the forth pic is Bob Applegate but what the heck is the first pic????????????

I must've missed the first one. You would think being there all day I would've seen every single reptile but, I don't remember seeing that one. I'll just have to go back again tomorrow.

Sweet pics from the show! The Pastel Ivory looks like pretty cool. Who had the Lavender Albinos and the Desert Ghost though?
HISS had the Desert Ghost. It was right next to the Pastel Ivory. BHB had the Lavendar Albino.
I know those of us who couldn't make it appreciate it.

That first snake is cool but the male lavender albino caught my eye. There was an earlier post about the pricing of lavender albinos. Most of the responses were the same as my thought, no need to drop the price. The supply is still very limited and the demand is still very high. Yet, the one in your pic is $5000 / 20% less than table prices that I saw last year. And it's a male. You could produce a lot of hets with that male. Now if I could only come up with $20K.
John! Wow those blood python and VPI caramel albino photos really caught my eye!! Thanks! Yes that animal out of the VPI axanthic breeding is amazing! Hope it is genetic!
