Couple of images and question..

Okay. I just picked up this 10 year old (as I'm told by previous owner) corn. Very calm snake from when I held it at their house. Right now there is only a hide and heat rock (which is all they used for 10 years). I have my UTH on order and already have the dimmer setup and digital thermometer. The rock will be taken out once the UTH gets here. I took just a couple for the looks and to post these images to get an idea of what he is. The other people didn't know. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The first one is for size. This is a 20g Long tank.

Looks like a rat snake. How about a pic of the top of the head.

It's a snow corn.

The set-up looks good. Like you said, do away with the hot-rock after you get the UTH. Maybe add another hide, one on each end. Get a good water bowl that he/she can't tip over. If you don't want to pay for mulch, using paper (newspaper or paper towels) would be a good replacement once that mulch gets soiled. Of course, mulch is better looking than paper.
