What do i do to fix an E3 error on a helix DBS -1000? Ive tried to unplug and reset and ive ran threw the temps 2 times like i read on a web site but i still get check system light and a E3 error.

I believe you need a night drop cord to fix that error message. I am not sure if you can fix it another way.

I actually think you have to call Helix and they will send you a stint that fits into the phone jack on the Helix it runs for a minute and then erases the E3 code. I had one of mine do that on one of the codes! Helix will send you the stint free of charge or at least they did with mine, it was about three years ago! What John said may work also and save you the call to Helix can't hurt to try!!!Good luck!!
