Amy, since when do you have a boa constrictor? You need to update your list I was originally going to tease for for being a 'traitor' and posting Dum pics in the general Boa forum... when did you get this one?

BTW the first pic is one of the best I have seen that shows the teeth while feeding. Very cool.

Haha! Well I didn't put him on the list, as I kind of "borrowed" him from my younger brother who wasn't caring for him well. He was in a 70 degree basement with no heat or light, and had developed a RI! I have him in a rack for now, and am not sure what I'm going to do with him long term.

Man that dumeril's forum has really picked up lately huh! I love it!

No joke! The Dumeril's forum actually has regular traffic now.

Well, kudos to you for treating the RI. How big is he? That looked like a pretty big rat... and like the boa didn't have to stretch too much to eat it.

Keep fighting the good fight. Best of luck to you this season with all you've taken on.

Thanks! He is just over 6 feet and 7 pounds! He is a super strong snake too! I'm a bit nervous handling him as he is very cage aggressive, and I don't quite trust him, but he sure is pretty.

Talk to you later!
