Anyone live on the eastern shore in MD/DE

i dont live there , but i take trips to white crystal beach, its on the elk river across from turkey point, its on that side of MD and delawere.
hopefully ill be able to get down ther this sprign n see whats a popin
any questions in particular?
im looking for more spots near there too if any one has any suggestions

I live in DE.

Do you own snakes as pets or do you breed them?? or both?

I've been keeping snakes since 04, but I have a very small collection at the moment (two corns and a black rat). I don't breed and don't plan to.

i just started (well i had a ball python a few years ago) but right now i just have a banded cali king. do you know of any breeders of kings, corn or python around DE/MD eastern shore

Unfortunately not. My first snake was wild caught. Then when I decided to get a second, I couldn't find a breeder, and it took me quite a while even to find a good pet store where I could get what I was looking for. Eventually I did find a good pet shop, but I hesitate to direct you there because first, prices were very high (I mean it, they were ridiculous), and second, the last time I was at that shop was before a law was passed in DE which requires owners of non-native snakes to have a permit. After that law passed, local Petcos & etc pulled snakes from their shelves. Whether that particular shop did the same is an open question.

For the last year or so, I've been thinking about adding a new snake to my collection, either a Baird's rat or a desert king (L.g. splendida), but I've decided mail order is the way to go. You'll probably have better luck by looking further into MD than looking to DE.

I got my banded cali king at KOI KOUNTRY in Harrington DE they were a little pricy but not to bad from what i've seen and they look healthy. I was thinking of ordering them but I like to see and hold the snake first.

Harrington is way down there past Dover, isn't it? I'm in the northern end of the state, so I probably wouldn't be much help to you.

check out the american cornsnake registry- you might be able to find someone near you. i'm #290 in chesterfield, va. its a pretty cool place to check out. you can register your snakes like the akc does dogs and check out the linage and back grounds. Hope i helped a little!!!
