My attempt at a rack

diggy415 Feb 18, 2007 06:37 PM

Here’s my attempt at a snake rack, an old bureau. I have plenty of UTH to use and with the towel in place will see how warm it stays inside it all, test run for a few days.

If you have under the tank heaters, then the towel is unnecessary. If the UTH is directly under your tank, the snake will lay over it to stay warm. I would never have thought of using an old dresser like that. Good job! Derek

thnks, i just added the blanket for darkness factor and the room gets a bit cold in itself. I did different things, set it up, turn on the UTH added water and towel down, it's 60humidity, 80 heat and 70 on the shelf. Everything off, its 60 on the shelf 40 humd and 70* i will wait for a bit before putting them in there. Should have summer soon enough lol
