hybrid site/pics?

killr_silhouette Feb 18, 2007 08:11 PM

wow...some of the hybrids are pretty awesome!

but i was wondering...does anyone know of any particularly good hybrid sites?

i'd really love to see more pics...especially of the larger hybrids...

what are some of the rarer hybrids?

also...i saw a couple posts about breeding boas with pythons...is that possible?...i guess i never really thought about it...

what are the boundaries as far as snake hybrid go?...

i dont think you would be able to breed something like a boa or python to some sort of colubrid, a corn or rat snake for example?

or could you?

LOL...these are probably stupid questions...but i'm curious and i figure the people at kingsnake would know these types of things

also, how much do certain hybrids run as far as price goes?

are they typicaly more or less expensive that pure speciemens?

thanks!
jessica

Hi ya

No boids but you could have a look at mine www.uk-hybrids.com

as far as boathons go, well a mating is as far as it would go, the big difference is (boa = livebirth) (python = egg layer).
sayin that though , nature sometimes finds a way. so maybe one day it may happen, more than likely in a lab though... lol.

I would say a good majority of the hybrids that are around are rare cos their really isnt that many people doing hybrids.
anything that hasnt been done yet is also going to be rarer. lol lol.

maybe there is a chance of a python x colubrid ( spotted python x colubrid ? ) or simular. ???????? any other thoughts on this anyone.

Paul.

a python X colubrid hybrid would be pretty interesting...

im not familiar with genetics or anything that goes into breeding animals...but it sounds like an interesting topic...
