Some Questions

I need to know about calcium. Do you dust their food with it? Is Rep-Cal ok, it's the same stuff I will use for beardies. Or do you put it in a dish in their cage?

Also, for heating/lighing I was going to use a red incandecent light. What watt should I use? And lastly what type of heating pad should be used, or do you even need one if you have the red light?

Thanks so much!!
Emily

Leos need belly heat more the heat from above. I use the red light and a UTH you do have to make sure you watch temps, tho they should be about 85-90 hot side and about 70-75 cool side. You could also just have the light on at night and the UTH during the day. 50watt is what i use.

Calcuim-there should be a pure calcuim dish in the tank at ALL times. You also can dust the prey with calcuim with D3 about 1 a week along with vitiamins. Only PURE calcuim goes in the tank not calcuim with D3.

50w is fine if you are using a uth as well. If not then i would say about 75w. But 75 will be too hot with the UTH. Good luck if you need help with anything else feel free to email me Brizzdown@aim.com!
