Took my female Jackson's to the vet (because of her tounge missing problem I posted here). The vet did an examination and during it he said he felt one egg. I informed him that Jacksons give live birth. At that point I began to wonder how much this Reptile vet actually knew.
He suggested her problem was due to a lack of Calcium. He said we should give her a shot of calcium or force feed it to her with a syringe. I decided to just supplement her on every feeding and give her unfiltered sunlight.
She has not improved in 3 days. I am considering taking her in for the injection and thought I would ask here if anyone had any success with this form of treatment first.
