In the process of shedding my leo lost his toe nail(not his toe just the nail) will this grow back?
This happened to my gecko half a year ago. I was helping him with his shed on his toes when oops, the nail came off, and it started to bleed a little bit.. I felt sooooo bad for the litte guy. just clean it up, make sure it doesn't get infected (what do others recommend for cleaning wounds?) And now I can't find the toe that lost the nail, so I'm assuming that it grew back.

He will be ok Geckoman. Might have been a fluke or a dry shed. I have had this happen in the past even with my humid hide. When I notice mine are in shed now I mist their warm side dry hide, and if they appear to get those little toe caps I soak them in warm water (just their feet). Use NEOSPORIN on the wound to prevent infection. He will be fine. Hope this helps.
