A few of my 2006 babies

Nokturnel Tom Feb 19, 2007 08:59 PM

I held onto almost the entire clutch to see how they'd color up. I love aberrant patterns and some from this clutch had really cool ones. It took quite a while but some are finally beginning to take fuzzies. Hope ya like em Tom Stevens

Thanks, a good friend who posts on here as Preacher Pat has my best Corns from 2005. I think he has 2.3 of them. I have one female that I will get pics of asap that has a lot of green on her and she should breed this season. Unfortunately I am using one of the males that I used on her mother in a multi male project instead of a sibling but it should still yield some vividly colored offspring. The things that should come from the group Pat has really has me excited. I hope to get more pics of those animals soon too. Thanks again Tom Stevens

you always seem to have mostly abberant patterned hatchlings. i'm so jealous! i kept the only 2 abberant patterns i produced last year even though they were miamis and both males...but i always look forward to your hatchlings to see what new "pops up"
thanks for the pics!!!

Glad you like them. The abberency may come from the probability that Creamsicle is in the mix. I used Creamsicles males on the mother the year before in 2005. In 2006 I used a Reverse Okeetee male but some babies were very similar to last years. I like the Creamsicle crosses, so it is fine with me either way. Just to be on the safe side I labeled the 2006 babies as Creamsicle X Reverse Okeetees. Thanks Tom Stevens

Thank you, if you have a moment you may want to check out my site. I love those Brooksi but not far behind you will see I am a Pituophis nut. I think I will always love the Corns though. My first pet shop snake was a Speckled King but many Corns followed and man do I wish I'd been into breeding all those years ago. I would guess some of my pets in the late 70s may have been Okeetees....sigh.... Tom Stevens
