Steven,
If it does turn out that I produced your critters, here's some background...
They were produced by a pair of snakes I caught in July of 1993. I caught the pair on the same night, on the same rock cut, and about 30 feet and two minutes apart.
Here's the mother:

This is the father:

Please excuse the quality of the shots... my scanner stinks LOL
The WC male died in 2002 (he was very large when I caught him), but the female's still a live and well. She produced a clutch last year with another male I have from the spot... same year, but the night after I found the female and just across the street. It's hard to believe that I've had that pair for almost 14 years!
I have no record of who I sent the babies to from that original pairing, but Don might be able to give you an idea on that based on who he got them from.
According to Don he got them from Roy E. in Sanderson. I called Roy yesterday and he said that he got them from Bob Haas in a trade. So if you sold some snakes to Bob Haas or know of a way to contact them then it is possible that these snakes were produced by you... Which makes me happy...
Thanks for posting the pics and the background.
Take Care,
Steven Owens
Steven,
I did send a number of snakes to Bob and I know there were Pecos county animals among them. It looks like the mystery's solved. It's good to see that they're out there and doing well. I'm glad you ended up with them. Please keep me posted on their progress.
