I took this photo of my female southern pine this morning after she shed. She is usually not very cooperative so I was happy with the result.
I like seeing the photo's you guys post on here and thought it was time that I put up one of my own.

This is is my 06 girl. I got her from Andy Beleny,
This girl has serious 'tude, and I love her.

That's a very nice Southern Phil and that baby you have is looking really nice as well Kevin.

Here we go:

That snake is sweet!!! Incredible color and pattern! I always end up selling my southerns when they get a little size because of lack of space. I need to stop doing that,LOL. Heres a blurry pic of my male. Kevin
Do most of you guys who keep southern Pines or Pines in General find fiestiness to be the norm? Just seems I recall reading quite a few posts on here where folks w/ Southerns were talking about the fiestiness of their Southerns. Maybe it was somewhere else I read that --- can't remember.

The more you guys keep posting pics of your normal southerns, the more the influence will grow on me. I don't own one yet and wasn't planning on it, but this may change the outcome of the future.
Phil..that snake is incredible!!
Recent pic of my snow southern, one outta the two southerns I have. I also own an albino.
Keep posting your normal southern pics!

You should look into getting posters of that snake made with your pics. That would be cool framed near the fireplace!

Genesis 1:1
That, is by far, my absolute FAVORITE pic of a southern!!!
I was just telling a buddy of mine about that exact picture the other day driving home from Arlington... 'Did you ever see that pic of the flawless southern somebody posted in the wild last year???'
I wouldn't have been able to contain myself if I stumbled across that beauty!!!

Thanks Mark. I was going to request photo's for the Pit website's image gallery but thought it may have been the same snake. Got pics from both Kenny and Pierson of that beauty! Were you ever able to update the photo's of your mugitus?
Thanks, Phil

This is a central Fl. locale female that recently died, she was a '89 hatched animal and produced many offspring in her life.
He is a real gentle, calm snake.
I like that he is virtualy patternless for the first third of his body.

That's a beauty Phil. You seem to be getting more into Pits every day

Thanks for all the comments guys, and also thanks for all the photo's of your snakes! Its good to see others with an interest in mugitus. I find the variability within this subspecies to be particularly interesting. I plan on updating photo's from my collection this spring so I'm sure to be posting more soon.
Thanks again, Phil
