What the reply's above are trying to say in a sarcastic manner, is that there is no such thing as a het for pastel. Either it is a pastel or it is not.

EmberBall Feb 20, 2007 11:52 AM

Unfortunately your "Het" Pastel is probably just a normal. I say probably because maybe the seller mislabeled it, and maybe it is a Het for something else, or a Possible Het for something else, but the Pastel, the visual Pastel, is the Het form of the Pastel morph, Het for Super Pastel. So there is no such thing as a Het Pastel. Het for Super Pastel, yes, it is a Pastel. The pic here shows Het for Super Pastels.

Here is a bette pic of her. So, is she just a very light normal? My camera is not the best, she is more of a yellow.

Yeah, she is a normal. A nice one, but definately not a Pastel. The good news is you paid for a normal, and received a normal, the bad news is that you thought you were getting a great deal on something other than a normal. If I was you, I would go back to the seller and ask what the deal is???

Pastel males will be selling for less than $200 this year, and maybe as low as $150 or less once the eggs all have hatched. Pick up a nice Pastel male if you really like the Pastel gene.
