Few Newbie Questions...

quaker639 Aug 11, 2003 12:17 PM

What type of Chameleons do you all reccomend?
What type have the best demeanor/color/ability to thrive?
Should I get a male or female?
More than one?
One of those mesh cages are best?
Where is the best place to purchase one from...ie reputable breeder?
Any good sites that will help me learn more about chameleons?
that's all for now...
thanks in advance,
Vic

All i can offer is this advice seeing how i am a new cham owner myself. Do as much research as possible, REPTAYLS has soem good information on their site. Don't be afraid to ask questions, if you dont have cats then a repatarium would work, i have screen cage cuz i have a cat.My cham is tamatave panther(male i believe), have heard that they were a little difficult to care for, but i haven't encounterd any probs(yet). here is the link for reptayls. hope that helps Dave
