Ball Python breeding

kyles Aug 11, 2003 12:30 PM

I was reading lots of sites and some books on breeding ball pythons. I have breed other snakes like milks and kings. I was seeing at almost no place really said i need to put them through a brumation period. This seemed odd. Even the kingsnake.com ball care shweet says nothin about the brumation thing. Let me know what you all do whaen you breed you ball pythons. I am getting a male and female in about a week so i know that i ave to start the hole process soon in like oct. or nov.
thanks

cody

Africa is hot. Temperatures that a corn snake or king snake handles easily during brumation will either kill a ball python or open the snake to fatal diseases.
