microgreens?

in2deep Feb 20, 2007 06:16 PM

I've found a new Uro favorite - microgreens! He really loves them, but I hesitate to offer them on a regular basis.
Anyone familiar with the types of greens these could be? The packaging just says "microgreens". For all I know it's cabbage and broccoli sprouts...
Thanks.

If there's no list of ingredients on the bag (which seems very odd), I sure wouldn't feed it to our guys!! Careful there, Deep!

Is this the stuff?

I had a similar product.
I got it from the produce section at the local organic foods store. It had a lable on it, it just didn't list what type of greens were in there. I originally decided to treat it like spinach or swiss chard and put it on the list of stuff to feed rarely. Since he likes it, I was thinking of using it as a treat served with calcium supplement...
