You can see both the tail curling and the bite with venom on the hook! He was amazing! One last pic of the glass lizard, someday I will learn to take 20 of each herp so I get one decent shot!

nice micrurus!they sure tend to be the spastic/fiesty little ones,huh?a bit of advice,you can try first to get an 'insurance' shot first,by having the camera in auto mode,with auto focus.eliminates fumbling with settings/focus ring while your subject escapes...of course then you can click away however you want,or at least as long as your subject lets you.

I guess I was a little jumpy still from the previous encounter. I did use the hat trick to get some follow ups.

believe me,i get it,lol....that eastern i found-my first-was absolutely the most wired(and gorgeous!) snake i've come across,as was i after that long photo session.i was so pumped i condsidered anything else i saw on that whole trip more or less icing on the cake.
