WATER MONITOR FOOT PROBLEM????

hookracing Feb 21, 2007 12:11 PM

I HAVE NOTICED IN THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS THAT MY WATERS RIGHT REAR FOOT IS NOT AS DEVELOPED AS HIS LEFT REAR FOOT.
SHOULD THIS GIVE ME ANY REASON TO HAVE IT CHECKED OUT.

HERE ARE SOME PICS OF MY MONITOR.

The only thing I see is some bending in his toes and missing or short nails. This can be caused by digging at something or climbing something that he gets his nails stuck in. Or you could have him on a flat surface like concrete.

So the bending in his toes is normal and or crooked ?

Look at the other toes. You can tell "which one is not like the others". he may have avulsed (yanked out) one of his nails on screen/hardware cloth in his enclosure. if he is not favoring it, it isn't tender, swollen or pus producing, what is your concern? it's just old damage. you would need to post pics of both hind feet for comparison if you say they look like they are 2 different sizes.
