Shaking can be symptomatic of several things, including metabolic bone disease. A vet trip should be done right away. Also, take a look at his calcium intake and UVB situation to make sure he's getting enough of both.

i went to the store and got a new uv bulb and some calcium drops and the shakes are gone completely. Cold blooded pets helped me. The uv i have been using had a plastic cover over the bulb and i never thought anything of it, but i think that was the problem.

I hope you're on the right track but, something tells me that any condition involving "shakes" is unlikely to be cured in 24 hours with a new UV bulb & some calcium drops. I doubt you're out of the woods that easily. Best bet, see the vet!
