>>I got my cornsnake from a guy and his kids who weren't interested in her anymore. This was 2-3 months ago, and she still hasn't eaten since I got her. I offer her both live and frozen mice, make sure they are the right size, but she still won't eat. I noticed a couple weeks ago that is looked like she had little lumps on her side, they have gotten really big now, like 3-5 objects are stuck inside her. I thought it might be eggs, but she hasn't been with a male that I know of...can she still lay unfertilized eggs? Any help is appreciated! Thanks you
Take her to a vet. Get xrays done. Xrays should help determine what is going on. She could have broken ribs causing the swelling and pain associated with that could be the reason for lack of appetite. If she was full of near full term eggs (which could also account for lack of appetite) she'd have laid them by now and been back to eating as normal. Also possible she has infertile eggs inside that were not properly re-absorbed and are now stuck. Also possible you could be dealing with fatty tissue deposits, cysts/abscesses, or even tumors.
